Updated fork and disk brake breathes life into the old GT...AGAIN!

The GT seems to have more lives than a cat, 12yrs old and still going strong!

Alex finds an old Schwinn tandem project

Neat tandem Alex picked up for $15, it will be fun for the kids when it is cleaned up and updated with decent brakes...think it'll be a single speed so they don't have to mess with the gears.

Good times!

Thanks to "Friends of Capitol Forrest" for the superb BBQ!!!

Caution - Wet single track ahead with a forcast of FUN!

Sometimes pictures say it all...

Flying lessons

We were blessed with a Bald Eagle sighting, just above the clearing on the left...look REAL close.

Playing "find the trail"

Yes there is a trail there, under the clay...

Trips-for-kids invade Capitol Forrest

Lake Kachess, and the car is parked way over on the left...just off the lake bank

At least the view on the way up is beautiful

In the saddle, almost to the top now!

Heck, from here that don't look steep at all!

The Chute!

Maybe a parachute will be necessary, then we could call it base jumping!

Beautiful view from the top, UP to the saddle.

Ok, 3500' or so climb on steep fire road to get here, now we have to go down the side of this bowl in front of us and climb back up again into the saddle, goooood times baby!

And I thought the climb up the fire road was steep...

Just another 300' and we'll be in the saddle!

Don't slip El Dublay!

That looks real slippery...and it drops all 2000' down to the bottom of the upper bowl huh? Who's idea was this anyway?
